ZOOLOGICAL
MUSUEM, ITANAGAR |
|

The Forest Zoology museum of SFRI gives a first hand information
about the faunal wealth of the state. The collection of
exhibits started way back in 1988 when it was located
at Chessa then known as Van Vigyan Kendra. All these years
of field surveys and faunal collections has made the present
museum a store house of different animal groups exhibited
either as bottle specimens or dry preservations. The rich
biodiversity reflected here is a team work of the forest
zoologist and staff of the division.
